Nearly half of the recordings we currently do at CCCDs are done for schools as fundraisers.  

    Here is how it works.  Your band, choir, orchestra, or jazz band contacts us to come and record/videotape at an upcoming concert.  We then record that concert, using multiple professional mics (Neumann, Rode, Audio Technica, and others) into a multi-track digital recorder (24-32 tracks available).  Digital editing and mastering is done back at the CCCD studio.

     During the concert, your members (or parents or assistant directors, etc.) set up and man an ordering table to take pre-orders for the CDs or DVDs.  Money is collected at that time, and the funds go directly to your organization.

     A few days after the concert, you contact me with the number of CDs or DVDs which have been sold.  I then manufacture that number of items (Taiyo Yuden CDRs/DVDs, crystal cases, direct-to-disc labeling, color insert, listing of songs and directors, shrink-wrap, tested and guaranteed) and bulk-ship them to you, at a cost of $7.50 per CD ($12.50 for a DVD).  I also ship you one free CD/DVD for the director's personal library.  You then get the CDs to the ones who ordered them, and your organization keeps the difference between the funds brought in and the check you send me.  Most groups sell CDs for $15 ($7.50 profit for your organization) and DVDs for $25 ($12.50 profit for your organization).

This way, a concert which generates an order of 100 CDs pre-ordered at $15 each would produce $750 for your organization - and get you a free CD for your records.  An order of 100 DVDs at $25 each would produce $1250 for your organization - and get you a free DVD for your records - all at no financial risk to you in any way.

     There is no minimum order.  You can order additional CDs, should additional orders come in.  CDs ship out from Medina, Texas, usually within three weeks of the concert, and DVDs ship out normally within six weeks.
